Ordering & shipping

Do you ship specimen trees?

Yes. We deliver specimen trees throughout California with our own white-glove service, and coordinate professional transport for installations beyond our region. For trees in 36-inch boxes and larger, our team will contact you to confirm site access, crane requirements (if any), and a delivery window after your order.

How do I know exactly which tree I'm getting?

Every specimen we ship is hand-selected. For orders over $1,000, we send 2–3 candid photos of the actual tree before it leaves our yard, so you approve the specific specimen before delivery.

What about smaller plants and supplies?

Smaller nursery stock, seeds, soil, tools, pottery, and pantry items ship via standard carriers. Live plants ship Monday–Wednesday only to avoid weekend transit. See our Shipping Policy for full details.

Plant care

Do you provide planting and care guidance?

Yes. Every order ships with care instructions specific to the variety. For specimen trees and complex installations (like espaliers), we include a custom annual care calendar.

What if my plant doesn't thrive?

Healthy plants are guaranteed on arrival — see our Refund Policy. We also stand behind our advice: if you're concerned about a plant in your garden, call or email us with photos. We'll help you diagnose and recover whenever possible.

Trade & design accounts

Do you offer trade pricing?

Yes. Landscape architects, designers, and contractors are welcome to apply for a trade account. Reach out via our Contact page with your business details, and we'll send you our current availability list and trade terms.

Can I source a specific tree you don't list?

Often, yes. We have an active grower network across California and the Pacific Northwest. Tell us what you're looking for — species, size, habit — and we'll source candidates for you.

Visiting

Can I visit the nursery?

Absolutely. We're open year-round at 1805 Pueblo Avenue, Napa. Please call ahead if you'd like to walk through our specimen yard with a member of our team — we'll set aside the time.
